Your Advocate for Growth
Jennifer L. Petree
Founder & Chief Intrapreneur
While great politicians have a strong campaign manager, business leaders deserve an enthusiastic advocate for innovation and growth.
Jen Petree tackles special projects focused on long-term growth, including business development efforts, client relations programs and other go-to market endeavors. In addition, Jen helps leaders identify and minimize back-office issues that inhibit an organization’s ability to grow.
With deep roots in the service industry, Jen served as the Director of Business Development for AmLaw100 international law firm, Vinson & Elkins. Jen led firm-wide business development programs, including corporate director outreach across the firm’s governance and compliance practices. She successfully streamlined the firm's popular Energy Series, implemented accounting best practices, and championed the integration of the firm’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Prior to V&E, Jen oversaw the business development efforts of Baker Botts' most significant transactional and energy-related practices. Driving results through effective business development strategies and communication plans, Jen worked with firm attorneys to create meaningful client partnerships.
Jen spent the first half of her career in professional sales, marketing and public relations roles. Most notably, she was on the management team of Enventure Global Technology, an energy technology joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell and Halliburton. With a fresh approach to client research, public relations, marketing, trade show management and internal communications, Jen helped grow the company 5x its size within five years.
With a results-oriented focus, Jen Petree helps companies define and realize their next stage of exponential growth.
